Megan building

I bought these really cool toys called Dado squares. Hours of fun. Seriously. Megan and I spent three hours building structures last night and then she pulled them out again today. All I can do with Legos is build a tower. :-)

Webkinz!

Megan and Ali take over the computers to play Webkinz!

Sugar Cookies

Megan and Zoe decorate sugar cookies. Who knew dyed sugar could be so much fun?

Zoe plays Nintendogs

My DS. My game. Zoe plays it. Sigh. :-) She's good too!

Zoe and the lighted Christmas tree

Zoe in the sunroom (snow room!?) checking out the lighted Christmas tree.

Blackout!

We lost power for a few hours last week. During the power outage, Megan kept saying how she "needed to play video games". What did she do when the power came back on? Pulled out a book!! Megan had the dog book and Ali has the cat book.

Cool stuff!

I was sorting through board games today when the girls decided to help. Megan is playing with a shape game in the background. Ali and Zoe are playing Scrabble.

Megan testing

Megan tests for her green belt. Ali is standing behind her.

Zoe sings!

She is singing "We are the Champions" and then "Jingle Bells"

Zoe and grapes

Zoe eats grapes with chopsticks.

Duke and Auggie take on Hot Wheels

The innocent people of Hot Wheels land could only watch in horror as bunny-zilla ate cars whole.

Zoe the builder

Zoe is playing with Wedgits. They are lots of fun and she is clearly building the world's next great structure.

Love! Love Sac!

Megan meets snow

Megan sits in the bay window and watches the snow fall. The Chirstmas tree is comically small. And fake. When we were kids it was a big deal to go to a U-cut lot and pick the tallest, fattest tree we could get away with. This tree is a sad replacement. But I'm sure it will look very perky when the presents are put underneath on Christmas Eve.

Zoe and lite brite

Zoe had fun putting the pegs in just the right spot.

Ice

Our road was icy all week. You can see that our drive way is clear, but the rest is a mess.

Snow!

Megan and Zoe help Dennis clear snow off the cars.

Zoe snacking

Those eyes get me every time.

Playing DS

Ali watches Megan play her Nintendo DS.

Zoe and tree

Zoe helps decorate the Christmas tree.

Megan and puppets

When Dennis and I first started dating (before we were dating even), he won me over with hand puppets. Megan continues the tradition.

Leftovers

This is from this summer. The girls had so much fun playing in the water!

Miss Z.

This is an older picture from this summer. I jus love this look. And the hat. I think she looks like a little flapper.

Have you hugged a seal today?

Outside the Chinese Gardens.

Picking out pommegranite seeds. Megan and Zoe tend to devour the seeds faster than we can free them. Ali has no interest in eating the seeds, but has discovered they are fun to squish between her fingers.

Zoe and her pommegranite.

veggies good!

Megan does Happy Feet while Zoe searches for food.

good to the last drop

Zoe takes daddy's ramen very seriously. Why waste any when you can suck it up with a straw?

rump roast

Zoe practices her fork and knife skills on Pooh bear. I expect we'll be hearing from PETA soon.

Megan riding her bike. She's so far away because I'm pushing Zoe in the stroller.

Fort

This is the fort we made. It had a tunnel entrance, a backdoor, and several windows. It served as Megan's den for about a week.
